PPR Pipe is a random copolymer polypropylene material.
PPR is random copolymerized polypropylene. Products made of this material have good toughness, high strength, excellent processability, and good creep resistance at high temperatures. PPr materials are widely used in the production of pipes, sheets, daily necessities, packaging materials, household appliance parts and various films.
The raw material molecules of ppr plastic pipes are only carbon and hydrogen elements, and do not contain harmful and toxic elements. The thermal conductivity of ppr plastic pipe is 0.21w/mk, which is only 1/200 of that of steel pipe, so the effect of heat preservation and energy saving is better.
The Vicat softening point of the ppr plastic pipe is 131.5°C, and its working temperature can reach 95°C. It can also meet the requirements of the hot water system in the building water supply and drainage regulations, and has good heat resistance. The working temperature of ppr plastic pipe can reach 70 ℃, and the service life can be as high as 50 years under the working pressure of 1.0 MPa, and the service life of 20 ℃ at room temperature can be as high as 100 years.
The difference between ppr pipe and pvc pipe
The ppr pipe is made of copolymerized polypropylene material, while the pvc pipe is made of polyvinyl chloride material, and the raw materials used are different. The appearance of the ppr pipe is bright, and the pvc pipe is mostly milky white, and the material is relatively fragile. The ppr pipe is divided into four-point pipe and six-point pipe, and the wall thickness is 2.3mm and 3.5mm respectively; the wall thickness of the pvc pipe with a diameter of 6mm is 2.0mm, and the wall thickness of a diameter of 8-10mm is 2.5mm. The pipe wall of Ppr is thick, and the pipe wall of PVC pipe is thin.
